(Undated) -- Delaware's gas price rose by eight cents over the past week. AAA Mid-Atlantic reports an overall increase in the East Coast's crude oil prices, with that being said, gas prices are still 30 cents lower than they were a year ago. Jana L. Tidwell, manager of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic, says the demand for gas this time of year decreases and refineries are gearing up to switch to a winter-blend of gasoline. The winter blend of gas is less expensive to produce.
