It's another Try It Tuesday! I have been having such a blast going out to try new things! Whether it be someone's job, a fun place to go or try new things! This week I visited the new Eggspectation in Christiana with Celebrity Chef Robbie Jester! The franchise is part of locally based High Five Hospitality, which has Delaware and Maryland Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant locations, as well as Limestone BBQ & Bourbon near Kirkwood Highway between Newark and Wilmington, and Stone Balloon Ale House in Newark. Last time I saw Robbie, we were making BBQ at Limestone BBQ, which just celebrated their one year anniversary! Eggspectation has now been open one month! From breakfast to lunch to dinner, you’ll have a tough time choosing between their exclusive dishes: crepes, soups, salads, omelettes, pasta, steak, chicken, seafood, sandwiches, or the famous Eggs Benedict.
For 'Try It Tuesday' I had the chance to get back in the kitchen and whip up one of their specialties, the lobster omelette! Which is a delicious blend of eggs, green onion, brie cheese, lobster, hollandaise sauce and paprika! I think I did pretty good :) I also got to get behind the smoothie bar with Andrew and mix up a delicious tropical teaser smoothie, made with pineapple, mangos, banana, fresh squeezed orange juice and pineapple juice! They open at 7am with a variety of options you are sure to love!
