(Wilmington, DE) -- A Wilmington man is facing charges for leading police on a 16-minute chase. Police arrested 20-year-old Nijir Lee on Wednesday. The suspect led police on a chase from a Walmart near New Castle to Second and Walnut streets in Wilmington. A 17-year-old girl was also in the vehicle but police did not arrest her instead turning her over to her parents. Lee has received several charges including possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony, two counts of reckless endangering and disregarding a police signal. No word on why officers were trying to stop him.
