(New Castle County, DE) -- A chemical manufacturing plant in Delaware is being fined for air and water pollution. Croda Inc. is facing nearly 250-thousand dollars in fines for a toxic gas leak in November. Delaware environmental regulators found the company at fault for the release of a known substance that is flammable and explosive and capable of causing cancer. It was also revealed that Croda began operations at its new plant without the state's stamp of approval.
