(Newark, DE) -- U.S. Senator Chris Coons says Delaware's elected officials stand in solidarity with those slain in Friday's deadly white nationalist mosque shooting in New Zealand. He joined Governor Carney and other lawmakers yesterday in a prayer service at a mosque in Newark, where members shared concerns about safety in houses of worship in the First State. Coons says it's time for those who "believe in the power of love and in the power of democracy" to stand up to hatred.
