(Dover, DE) -- Governor Carney and Delaware lawmakers are proposing legislation to help federal workers in Delaware as the government shutdown drags on. House Bill 3 would supply state-guaranteed low-interest loans to help furloughed workers pay the bills. M&T Bank, in partnership with the West End Neighborhood House, has agreed to provide short-term loans available in all three counties.
