The U.S. Geological Survey has reported an earthquake off the coast of Ocean City. According to the initial report, the 4.7 magnitude quake hit at 6:30 Tuesday evening, about 136 miles off the coast at a depth of just over six-miles. Ocean City officials say they have seen no effects in town, however the Emergency Services Department has been in contact with state partners and will be monitoring the situation.
