(New Castle County, DE) -- A teenage boy is recovering after getting hit by a car. The incident happened yesterday at Kingman Drive and Eaton Road in Brandywine Hundred. Police said the boy was struck by a vehicle after getting off a school bus. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for abrasions to his chest and leg. Police have cited the driver of the car for inattentive driving and passing a stopped school bus.
