Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Have you heard? The Governor's Advisory Council for Exceptional Citizens (GACEC) is collecting hugs and connecting hearts across Delaware. Heart 2 Heart Hugs is a project focused on providing comfort and hugs for children and young adults in Delaware who are homeless or in foster care.
What are hugs?? "Hugs" are warm items you can donate to help kids stay warm this winter! We're looking for:
- Blankets
- Coats
- Scarves
- Sleeping Bags
- Pajamas
- Slippers
- Hats
- Socks
- Sweatshirts
- Fleece Pants
- Sweaters
- Any toasty or handmade items
