(Wilmington, DE) -- An officer is facing charges for stealing money from the Wilmington Police Department. Michael Ballard was charged yesterday for stealing more than 20-thousand dollars. Police say Ballard embezzled the money from October 2015 to earlier this year. He was charged with three felony counts of theft and 14 counts of misdemeanor.
