(Wilmington, DE) -- The Boys and Girls Club site in Wilmington will be demolished. The site had previously been closed in 2010 over the rising cost of repairs which would have topped one million dollars. Boys and Girls Club of Delaware CEO John Wellons said the organization has been unable to sell the property and the building is becoming a nuisance. If the city approves the demolition, the area will be turned into a green space for the neighborhood.
