(Dover, DE) -- The New Castle County Republican Party chairman is reportedly leaving his post. The Delaware News Journal reports that Peter Kopf submitted his resignation saying he cannot support U.S. Senate candidate Rob Arlett. In a letter announcing his resignation, Kopf stated that he was unhappy where the Republican Party in Delaware is heading and no longer wants to be a part of it. He said he thinks Arlett lacks the character and integrity needed to lead the Republican ticket.
