(Sussex County, DE) -- Delaware health officials are warning people in Sussex County of possible water contamination. The Delaware Division of Public Health issued a boil water advisory on Friday for Broadkiln Beach Water Company and PrimeHook Water Company customers after water samples collected from the system tested positive for E. coli bacteria. The department says the well and system are currently being cleaned and flushed, and a chlorine treatment system has been put in place. Until the department gives the all-clear, people are told to boil water before drinking it, using it to cook, brush teeth, make ice, or wash dishes and clothes.
