A lot of people try to get 10,000 steps a day. Some can hit it EASILY. Others end up closer to 1,000 . . . and claim that all their steps aren't being counted because, "I don't carry my phone around all day."

There's a company called GymBird that's looking to hire a "Chief Step Officer," who will be paid $10,000 to take 10,000 steps in one day. It's mostly a marketing stunt, not an actual ongoing position.

It's simple: You apply online . . . and if you're chosen, you'll spend a month "training" to walk 10,000 steps in one day. Once a week, you'll have to share a few social media posts, including a video blog about the experience.

But you only actually have to walk 10,000 steps in one day on the LAST day.

They're accepting applications until July 19th. They say any adult can apply . . . but it sounds like they're looking for someone who's new to walking for exercise, because they want it to be inspiring to others.  (Plus, if you're a server who easily gets to 10K at work, then you don't need "training.")
