Rank All Five of Your Senses in Order of Importance

Someone's probably asked you this hypothetical before, maybe when you were a kid: If you had to LOSE one of your five senses, which one would it be? Taste, sight, smell, touch, or hearing?

Someone polled 2,000 Americans, and the least important is . . . our sense of TASTE.

77% said sight is their MOST important sense. That's followed by hearing, 14% . . . and touch, 6% of the vote.

Sense of smell only got 2%, and taste ranked last with just 1% saying it's their most important sense.

Sight was named the most challenging sense to lose. So the poll also asked what people would miss seeing the most if that ever happened.

The top things we'd miss seeing include our loved ones' faces . . . nature in general . . . our pets . . . sunrises and sunsets . . . and the shows and movies we love to watch.
