Sheryl Crow and Chris Stapleton will collaborate on the upcoming CMT Crossroads: Sheryl Crow & Friends, airing Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. ET on CMT. Ahead of the official airing,Billboard has the exclusive premiere of their stirring duet “Tell Me When It’s Over” today (Sept. 12).

Filmed at Crow’s home studio in Nashville, Stapleton assists on vocals and guitar throughout the bluesy “Tell Me When It’s Over,” a song the pair wrote together and is featured on Crow’s latest album Threads.A storyline of a woman telling her man she doesn’t want to be the last to know when their relationship is over, the song’s soaring guitar riffs, driving beat and Crow’s captivating vocals get the point adequately across.
