(Milford, DE) -- The Milford Police Department is one step closer to getting a new headquarters. The Milford City Council recently voted to pay more than one-million-dollars to purchase properties across the street from their current building. Officials have also approved to pay about 150-thousand-dollars for the designs. The city's police headquarters is more than 40-years-old and many say much too small for the city's current police force.
