Delaware Man Arrested For Dragging Man With Stolen Car

(Newark, DE) -- A Delaware man is behind bars for dragging a Massachusetts police officer with a stolen car. Thirty-seven-year-old Theodore William Newton of Newark was arrested early Sunday morning. Police stopped him on Saturday in a vehicle that was reported stolen in Delaware. Newton took off and dragged the officer about 15 feet before he could free himself. He was taken to the hospital and since been released. Newton is expected to appear in court today.
