In a continuing effort to prevent losing lives to overdoses, the Division of Public Health (DPH) will distribute free naloxone kits at clinics in March.
A naloxone distribution clinic will be Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Delaware Tech — Jack Owens Campus, located at 21179 College Drive in Georgetown.
Each kit contains two doses of naloxone. When administered, the naloxone can revive some overdose victims.
Other naloxone distribution clinics are planned for other locations. Event information will be posted to the Help is Here Delaware website, www.helpisherede.com.
