(Seaford, DE) -- A man will spend time in prison for a deadly hit-and-run in Seaford. Dwayne McConnell was sentenced for hitting a nine-year-old last year in April on German Road. Police say the victim, identified as Germani Truitt-Handy, was walking back to her home after checking the mailbox when the incident happened. McConnell has received an 18-month prison sentence, followed by one year of home confinement and then 18 months of probation.
