DE Family Insecticide Poisoning Verdict

The man who used a toxic insecticide at a Virgin Island resort has been sentenced for poisoning a Delaware family.  According to the "News Journal," Terminix manager Jose Rivera was given 12 months in federal  prison for using the banned chemical in 2015.  Members of the Esmond family became severely ill and suffered paralysis as a result.  Rivera's attorney claims his client didn't know the substance had been banned.  Terminix reportedly settled a lawsuit with the family for 90-million dollars.
