(Dover, DE) -- Bad is weather is also bringing bad news for a Dover Halloween event. The Dover Police Safe Trick or Treat event scheduled for today has been canceled due to the forecasted weather. The Lantern Tours of the Plantation event has also been canceled. The National Weather Service says a coastal storm Friday evening through Saturday will bring widespread rain and gusty winds to Delaware. Forecasters say localized street and minor coastal flooding is possible.
