(Washington, DC) -- Delaware Senator Chris Coons says his focus going forward is restoring some of the legitimacy of the Supreme Court. Coons made the comment during an interview on NBC's Meet the Press. It followed Saturday's vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Coons voted against the nomination. He said the Senate has seated a justice without sexual assault allegations against him having really been cleared.
