The Dover Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. is hosting a Health Fair at Delaware State University in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center. It will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This free event is open to the public. More than 30 community healthcare consultants and agencies will participate to provide free health screenings and share a variety of health information. The free screenings include blood pressure checks and rapid HIV tests. Representatives from Public Health, Hospice Services, Veterans Health Services, and the WIC Program will participate. In addition, other agencies will discuss autoimmune diseases, mental health, sexual assault, injury care and drug and alcohol addiction with a focus on heroin. Also, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will host a health insurance question and answer session.
Light refreshments and prizes will be provided. Come out to receive educational information and much more.
